Equipped to Serve

Updated: Feb 12, 2019

This single module, 4 session course is designed to equip children's and youth ministry leaders to serve as volunteers. Equipped is designed both to introduce new volunteers as they begin in children's and youth ministry, as well as to strengthen veteran leaders.

Equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up. Ephesians 4:12 NIV

This course can be assigned independently, or done together as a team. A church can assign new workers to begin training at anytime, online. The course can also be done online, but together in a social learning platform. Further, churches may use the downloaded curriculum to train leaders over a course of 4 Sunday School or mid-week Bible study sessions, or even as chapel sessions during a retreat or camp.

Per session, expect:

Directive teaching by steaming video

Assigned work (Scripture study, blog or book reading, or a podcast)

Written response & Assessment (either as part of a community forum or online quiz)

Upon successful completion, the student will earn a Family Ministry Volunteer certificate.
